BIRK husky is a small supplier of exclusive and quality adventures for individuals and smaller sized groups. We recommend you to book any accommodation, adventure or meals with us as early as possible.
Food preferences/allergies must be informed about when the order is placed. We do not guarantee that we can effectuate meals or tours booked on spot.
Payment - all orders are invoiced, please use the invoice details when paying
customers will get an invoice when the booking is confirmed. Please use the
payment details in the invoice. Bank cost is to be paid by customer.
Unpaid orders will be cancelled without any further notice.
Tour operators are invoiced on the day of the arrival of the guest, 1-week payment conditions.
Cancellation of reservations
The following applies to cancellations of confirmed reservations;
1. More than 30 days (1 month) before booking; the customer will get a refund of 80% of the full amount of the order paid to us.
2. 30 days or less to your visit, 100% cancellation fee. We do recommend that you do have a travel insurance that will cover this if the need of last-minute cancellation appears.
We do not give any refund of cancellations due to a third party not delivering their part of your travels, such as flights and so on.
3. All changes/cancellation of an order needs to be sent in writing (email) to BIRK husky.
BIRK takes full payment even if some of the participants do not want to take part in the full program booked.
reserves the right to change or cancel a tour if circumstances dictate that the
tour cannot be done safely (for example weather conditions) We will refund the
cost payed to BIRK for the specific tour if it is fully cancelled, not any
other costs in connection to your stay in the north.
If we do offer an alternative tour no costs are refunded.
Risk - responsibility
All our tours are associated with certain risks. BIRK is operating in an Arctic climate and work with animals. We ask all our guests to sign that the tours with us are done at your own risk. We will not be accountable for any damage to persons or belongings during your stay, be sure to have your travel insurance in place before you start your travels. Our guests must sign that they accept this before the tour starts.
It is important for us to tell you that we so far have not experienced any substantial damage to the equipment to our guests and we will of course do everything we can to make the adventure with us as a wonderful adventure you never will forget.
